ATLANTA -- A retired Atlanta Public School principal implicated in a massive cheating scandal is back at work -- this time, for a Fulton County charter school.Janice Kelsey worked as a principal at Thomasville Heights Elementary when, investigators said, she was aware of standardized test cheating going on inside the school. According to the 800-page report on the APS cheating scandal, “she is responsible for falsifying, misrepresenting, or erroneously reporting the results of the 2009 CRCT to the Georgia Department of Education.” She was one of 178 teachers and principals implicated in the report.Kelsey has since been hired as a student support manager at College Park’s Main Street Charter School, a school run by another former Thomasville Heights teacher.
